I have been able to track down .exe versions of this program, but no .dmg.  Does anyone have advice for finding a version I could instal on a mac?

Thank you,
Adam

I thought this program was discontinued. Does it still work?

I thought this was an iPad app. (and I also thought it was discontinued) You were able to find an exe?

We switched to Morphi for designing on our iPads, and we like it for doing very basic shape primitive work, which is mostly what we do in tinkercad anyway. It's easy to export to Thinkiverse from Morphi which makes it easy to get designs off of the iPads.

It still works on my mac, but I got it when the program was in the app store, and I've since learned that the .dmg file self destructs when downloaded this way.

I've heard rumors of people having a installable version still....

It is a great stepping stone to Fusion 360 because it isn't as overwhelming for newbies.  Also, it has a few neat features that, so far, haven't been built into Fusion.

Some of the functionality has been moved into Tinkercad (and some into Fusion). This means you're stuck with needing web connectivity though.

Hi Adam -

I have a working version.  You can download this zip file, unzip, and drag into the Applications folder in your Mac.  I've installed this way on Macs in our computer lab and they run it just fine.

In good news, Fusion has taken all of the sketching functionality of 123D Design and there's a stripped down, browser-based version of Fusion that's fairly comparable - it's just missing the drag and drop primitives, but Tinkercad is likely the best option for that kind of solid modeling.

Best,
Jonathan

Awesome!  Thank you for the file, I will load it up this week!

Also, thank you Joan for the book at Maker Faire! - It was nice to meet you!

Hey Jonathan, I know this is old but do you still happen to have the Zip file for 123D Design for Mac?

Thankyou!
