3D Scanner Advice

Hi All, 

We are picking out a 3D scanner and wondered if anyone has advice regarding the Moose or Creality devices.  Any other you'd recommend?

It would be helpful to know a bit more about how you plan to use the scanner -- what kinds of things do you plan to scan, and will it be used with PCs, Macs or Chromebooks, for example?

If scanning objects roughly the size of a plum to a grapefruit, and if self-contained is useful (i.e. no software to install), the Matter and Form THREE is worth looking at.
