JVSN: Bheeshma Ekadasi - February 22nd Monday

Dear Friends, 

Our yearly event "Bheeshma Ekadasi" which we have been doing for the past few years as an entire JVSN group is coming up soon on February 22nd 2021, Monday. As we all know, the pandemic situation is currently still continuing and not many of us received vaccines yet. Due to this we are planning to keep things a little simple for this time by performing the main rituals to Lord Vishnu on the same Ekadasi day, instead of doing it large scale on a weekend.

Since 22nd Monday is a working day for all,  as per our request the Temple committee and our priests graciously agreed to perform Abhishekam for Swaami varu to start as early as 6.30 AM followed by Alankaaram, Vishnu Sahasra Nama Parayanam chanting, Archana / Arati and finish everything by around 8.30 AM.  For those who wish to watch this entire process online, the event will be live streamed via HTSM Facebook page. Our sincere thanks to Dr VijayKumar garu and Leela garu for coordinating with concerned Temple authority in scheduling this event.

Dear all, 

The Abhishekam process on this auspicious Ekadasi day went very well this morning ,  with beautiful alankaram to Swaami Varu and Ammavarlu in colorful garlands, followed by an uninterrupted wonderful VSN chanting. Thanks to all our 3 priests, Rambabu garu, Satya Raju garu and Saavan Kumar garu for performing this event and providing a blissful experience for all.  Special regards to HTSM board as well for accommodating our request. 

We are grateful to Mrs. Lakshmi Buddala for taking care of preparing the pretty maalas and Dr VijayKumar garu for guiding throughout the entire process. Adding a few pics from this morning, for those who didn't get a chance to watch it online. 

On behalf of JVSN committee, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your continuing support as we move forward. Regarding our monthly VSN Parayanams,  we plan to continue meeting via Zoom sessions until things become normal and safe to meet in person.
