By sponsoring this program in July, August and September, we will be able to fulfill our mission to help feed our neighbors, even in this time of pandemic restrictions.

Dear Naja and Erik,

Attached you will find a social justice committee proposal for the "For Others" fund. I would like to propose that St. Mark's partner with the "Sol Foods Initiative". It would allow us to provide freshly made meals once a week to people in our neighborhood during the next couple of months. All the details can be found in the proposal. Please forward this on to the rest of the Social Justice committee for their consideration. If all are in agreement to move forward, it can be taken to session for a vote. I don't think we need to have a meeting. I think we can do this through email if that works for the two of you.

Irv -my understanding is that all we need to do is ask for the funding. Sol Food will take care of the rest. They would like 2 -3 St. Mark's volunteers to help deliver meals to our neighbors on Saturday morning. I have been volunteering for them for the last couple of weeks. It's a pretty smooth operation.
