Hi,

I've got a configuration of JupyterHub that uses the SystemUserSpawner. After I log in, I hget '500 : Internal Server Error' on the page. I am able to get the control pannel page and it appears to work; I can get to the Admin page and the 'Stop My Server' and 'My Server' button appear functional. However, if I stop the server and then click the 'My Server' button, I get the 500 error again.

Here is some log output at the DEBUG level

[D 2016-12-20 00:42:20.974 JupyterHub dockerspawner:414] Starting host with config: {'links': {}, 'port_bindings': {8888: ('127.0.0.1',)}, 'binds': {'/home/dbiringer': {'ro': False, 'bind': '/home/dbiringer'}}}

     'Running': True,
     'StartedAt': '2016-12-20T00:42:22.958772691Z',

It looks to me like the status is showing there should be no errors. Any ideas on where to look next?

Thanks,
Dennis

Can you show the output of docker logs jupyter-dbiringer? That might be where the 500 error came from.

Thanks for the tip Min. I've been pulled off on other things for a while but will pursue this in the future.

Take care,
Dennis
