I am trying to use Mido with python in Jupyter.  I have the Anaconda distribution running on a Windows 10 PC, and don't remember how to add a library.

Please consult the Anaconda documentation on how to add libraries:

From a Python notebook, you can use the ! prefix to execute shell commands. I hope that works on Windows, too. If not, use a separate terminal to change your Anaconda environment, then restart Jupyter.

Hope that helps,
  Roland

Excellent.  The ! was all I was missing.

To All - When running shell commands from a notebook cell INCLUDE an exclamation mark prefix!!!
