Subclasses of jupyter_client.manager.KernelManager?

Hello,

We're looking into possible changes internal to jupyter_client.manager.KernelManager (and AsyncKernelManager) but would like to know and understand what custom subclasses of KernelManager might exist in order to better preserve backwards compatibility.  If you know of any subclass implementations, I'm hoping you could reply to this thread or send me an email using the email associated with my GitHub's profile (kevin-bates).
