Hallo

at last with IPython 2.4.1 the notebook provides pop-up-Argument-hint on typing known function|method().
see Screenshot below.

this feature seems "lost" through the "big split"
####
test from a virtualenv with:
> ./ipython notebook
####
the environment:
> ./pip freeze

ipython==2.4.1
Jinja2==2.8
MarkupSafe==0.23
pkg-resources==0.0.0
pyzmq==15.4.0
tornado==4.4.2
####

It doesnt also work with an actual `jupyter notebook` if I run a kernel linked to this Environment.

It no longer appears automatically, but you can still see it by pressing shift-tab.

There were concerns that looking out for parentheses was language specific, when the notebook was trying to be language agnostic.

Ok, thanks for reply Thomas.
That works for me, … next time I should first do a closer look into →Help→Keyboard Shortcuts.
