Can Jupyter use images for automation?

I asked on another forum about a better alternative to Sikuli "Sikuli is a visual technology to search and automate graphical user interfaces (GUI) using images (screenshots)."
And Jupyter was mentioned, but I assume they were wrong because so far none of the documents I've read indicate it has that facility, am I wrong?
