On the terminal I can list and fetch assignments released with nbgrader, eg running "nbgrader list" lists the correct assignments. However, on Jupyter I cannot view the assignments. When clicking on Assignment tab on Jupyter, it give an error "Missing argument course_id".

I have jupyter 4.3.0 and nbgrader 0.5.1.

Content of /usr/etc/jupyter/nbgrader_config.py:

c = get_config()

c.Exchange.course_id = 'course1'

Any help please?

Thach

Hi Thach,

Is this a new install of nbgrader, or did you recently upgrade? If you upgraded, it's possible that you are using an older version of the Assignment List extension which may be causing problems. Can you try reinstall the extensions (following the instructions at http://nbgrader.readthedocs.io/en/stable/user_guide/installation.html#nbgrader-extensions )?

Cheers,
Jess

Hi Jess,
It's an upgrade from a very old version. The old and new versions were installed on different locations.

After manually removing the old version, it works!

Thank you for your help.
