Hi all:

 I try to run a jupyter-scipy image in contos6 with docker1.7.1.

And it says "FATAL: kernel too old".

Does this means the image only supports centos7 with higher docker version?

But install jupyter independently on centos6 with py27 is ok.

Any help?

Hello reminia,

The error is not complaining about your Docker version, it is complaining about your Linux kernel version. You will need to upgrade your operating system. Of course you could upgrade your Docker version as well, while you're at it.

hope that helps,

Thanks. I repacked a docker image myself, and that worked in centos6 with lower kernel.
