Hi, all,

Is there any tool I can use to debug a Jupyterlab extension when I develop an extension?
Is checking Chrome console the only way I can use to debug?

Thanks,

Jerry

I use the Firefox or Chrome debuggers.

Thanks,

Jason

Thanks. However, the JS files I see in Chrome debugger are bundled files. Is there a way to tell Jupyterlab to not bundle extension JS files?

Not currently, though you should be able to enable source maps in your debugger to step through your code.

Thanks. How do I enable source map?
Also, you mentioned the webpack configuration file here: https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab/issues/4276
Could I adjust the configuration file to not bundle JS files? Thanks
