Hi,
I have installed anaconda2 and anaconda3. I can see both Python 2 and Python 3 kernels in Jupyter Hub.
However, Python3 kernel is displayed as "Python [default]". Could you please let me know how I can change this name to "Python 3.5" in the kernel display name.

I tried changing in kernel.json for python3 and no luck. It is not changing.

Any help would be greatly helpful.

Thanks!

There's an anaconda extension that changes how kernels are discovered, called something like nb_conda_kernels. If you're happy to manage them with kernel.json kernelspecs, uninstall that extension.
