Owncloud storage backend for Jupyter(Hub)

Hi Jupyter experts,

I need to connect JupyterHub with Owncloud server, so users won't need to up/download their

data (which can be large) through the Jupyter web interface.

I found the following project: https://github.com/mrow4a/deiccontents

which "is work in progress", but has not progressed for more than 5 months.

Please, if you know of any other projects, links, etc. that can help quickly

develop such backend (if one doesn't exists already), share your info.

Hi Konstantin,

I know that https://swan.web.cern.ch/ uses jupyterhub and they found a way to connect you to CERNbox (which is a rebranded owncloud). I saw an early beta of it but don't have an account to check what the status is at the moment. Unfortunately I also don't know where to find their code ... but it might be worth sending them an email.
