Creating a touch cell

Hi all, 

I'm pretty new to Jupyter, but already in love with it. While I was working with it, I was wondering how hard it would be to include a touch cell, basically a drawing canvas, for which I have a prototype on github. What I would need from you is lots of guidance as I work towards my first feature. Maybe you have bugs that need fixing that can progress to an understanding of how to do it myself.
