How to save widget state after executing notebook through nbconvert

Description in nbconvert issue 751.

This is critical to anybody using nbconvert as part of a pipeline to produce automatic reports containing widgets (natural to make it a bit interactive), for example.

Would be VERY happy there is a solution.
