LDAP authenticated users cannot get released assignments using nbgrader

Hello,

I've been successful implementing LDAP login and home directory creation.  But i ran into a littel snafu.

Users can create files etc when they login with LDAP credentials, but when releasing assignments using nbgrader those users never get the assignments.

Only local users get those assignments ( I have one test user that got them).

it just sits there and says loading please wait.

one thing to add i am getting the following error in the debug logs:

SingleUserNotebookApp log: 122 404 GET /user/jupyterhubtst/nbgrader_vesion?version=0.5.3

SingleUserNotebookApp log: 122 404 GET /user/jupyterhubtst/courses?=courseid

I haven't really used LDAP much in the past so I'm not too familiar with it's workings, but in principle I think nbgrader *should* be able to work with LDAP. Would you mind opening an issue on the nbgrader repo and I can try to help you debug a bit further there?
