Hi

I am trying to implement an application for the AS2805 standard.  The AS2805 is the Australian-specific standard for financial messaging.

Does the JPOS have support for this standard? If I implement using JPOS will there be any tedious challenges?

Regards,
Praveen

Is it ISO8583 based or something else?

I don't think as a currently included no.

You would need to determine that. If ISO8583 then it is necessary to
define a Packager for the field structures, from their documentation,
hopefully taking a close existing and refining.

That is about all you will need, unless they have specific(odd)
connection (Channel in jPOS terms) and you need to build that.

Hi Praveen,

Yes, plenty of jPOS systems in Australia support the AS2805 standard. The largest banks in Australia and plenty of other Fintechs use jPOS. It's a variation on the iSO-8583 that Australia defined. You won't have any out-of-the-ordinary technical challenges implementing it, beyond carefully reading the specs. Some of the packagers and channels in the jPOS distribution are for sure a good starting point.

Thanks, Mark. I will explore more about that.
