disable logging

I rely heavily on the logging output but now I would like to be able to
control it's appearance, i.e. turn it off and on preferably at the
command line. I have not yet found a way to do that. Any pointers
appreciated.

Hi Rob,

Sounds like you're going to turn off out-of-the-box logging, and roll your own, instead, using your own ExecuteListener.

Ah, that would be unlikely. I'll either live it, dev null it or some
thing equally underhanded.
