Fata Error updating php 7.4 to php 8.0

Greetings,

Hope this finds you well.

I tried to update php version from 7.4 to 8.0, and having "Unsupported operand types: string + string" on my live website, but dont know from where it is coming from.

Like which code file and line number, if switch back to php 7.4, everything is fine.

Anyone fimilar ? Please support.

Probably an incompatible extension since this does not happen in my php 8.0 installed versions. Please provide a link to the page and set error reporting to 'max' and activate debugging in global so we can see what is going on

Thank you, but the issue is there is no line number and filename that where "string + string" operand is used.

Disabled all extensions and plugins, but the result is the same.

Try with Cassiopeia. I would guess your template is the issue.

Reason why I am stating this is that the template is still loading plugins in JS etc and or defunct CSS files (less likely) that is causing these issues.

One more attempt. You use JCH or something like it? Disable those and see what happens, Compression and combining JS files can cause these issues  as well

If it is work critical to you I can ask someone from my team to look into it on chargeable basis. If it comes out to be Joomla issue, it will be completely free for you.
