The Florida Democratic Coordinated Campaign seeks Voter Protection Associates to implement the statewide Voter Protection plan. Florida’s Voter Protection department will help elect Democratic candidates up and down the ticket. Our objective is to ensure that every eligible citizen can register, that every registered voter can vote, and that every vote is accurately counted.

Voter Protection Associates will assist the Voter Protection Director with all aspects of the campaign. Associates will be involved in strategic decision making and implementation including understanding election laws and policies, educating voters and campaign staff, and communicating with local election administrators. Associates will also supervise recruiting, training, and overseeing a team of volunteer attorneys, as well as coordinating with other departments and local campaigns. These positions will be based throughout Florida and may require travel.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience managing and operating large programs preferred
• Experience organizing and managing volunteers preferred
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadline and goals
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent legal research skills
• Prior Campaign experience preferred
• Access to reliable transportation
• J.D. preferred
