Illinois State Senate Campaigns – Campaign Mangers & Field Directors Needed ASAP 

Were you just on an Illinois primary campaign and election night didn't go your way? Are you in a different part of the country and looking to move to Illinois? Are you interested in expanding our Super Majority in the General Assembly? Then apply with the IL Senate Democrats. 

There are over 10 competitive State Senate races in Illinois this year, and we are now accepting resumes. 

Applicants should have 1-3 cycles of previous campaign experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Quality Healthcare plan is provided. 

These are full-time positions located through out Illinois including the Chicago area, central Illinois, and Metro East down by St. Louis. Applicants must be local or willing to relocate. Hours are long and irregular. 

The Campaign Managers will be responsible for:

• Working with the consulting team & Senate Dem Staff to coordinate the campaign strategy and implement the campaign plan;
• Managing the campaign budget;
• Draft and send campaign communications including press releases;
• Help manage candidate’s schedule, events, and call time;
• Manage interns and additional campaign staff, including fundraiser, field director, and organizers;
• Other duties and tasks as needed.

The Field Directors will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing the campaign field plan
• Overseeing field organizers and volunteers
• Manage and ensure proper data entry
• GOTV
