Job Posting: Campaign Manager

A New Jersey County Democratic Party is seeking a full time Campaign Manager for a well-funded challenger race.  This individual’s role will be to manage the day to day operations of the campaign.

 

Responsibilities Include:

·      Working with Party leadership, consultants and multiple candidates to achieve goals

·      Managing multiple entry level staff

·      Organizing and executing fundraisers and special events

·      Execute field plan

·      Managing fundraising call time with candidates

·      Interacting with local press

·      Staffing candidates at events

·      Managing website, social media, and campaign database

·      Ensure volunteer recruitment goals are being met

·      Scheduling and candidate management

Qualifications Include:

·      2+ years of competitive campaign experience

·      Significant field related campaign experience

·      NJ Resident Preferred

·      Experience in recruiting and training volunteers

·      2+ years of experience with VAN

·      Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends

·      Access to reliable transportation

·      Applicant must have an outgoing personality and positive attitude

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
