A County Board of Supervisors candidate in Fairfax County currently seeks a full-time campaign manager to oversee all aspects of the campaign. This position will be responsible for helping devise and ensure implementation of the overall campaign plan, including but not limited to:

· The field program;

· Paid and earned media strategy;

· Social media program;

· Public speaking on behalf of the campaign;

· Online and offline volunteer recruitment and training;

· Online and offline fundraising;

· Political strategy and grassroots outreach; and,

· Managing the time of the candidate, core group of supporters and surrogates and volunteers.

This person should be a skillful verbal and written communicator, highly organized, politically savvy, and scrappy. Given the many hats this person will wear, it’s important to have a strong understanding of campaign infrastructure, experience with short and long-term planning, as well as the self-confidence to know when to ask for help. With four Democratic candidates in the race, targeting will require careful planning.
