Position Description:
The Deputy Director of Grants Management is a member of the Institutional Advancement Team and plays a critical role in securing institutional funding for existing and new program initiatives, as well as unrestricted support of the organization. The Deputy Director reports to the Director of Brand Strategy and Chief Writer, and s/he will work closely with staff across the organization.
S/he will be responsible for managing an annual grant portfolio of $10-15 million, including all phases of the moves management process; supporting senior staff to drive their portfolios as part of an organizational culture of fundraising; and helping lead the planning and implementation strategies to grow and diversify the grant portfolio.
The ideal candidate is a mission-driven fundraiser with deep experience in grant and relationship management, superior analytic and communications skills, great attention to detail, and a passion for immigrant rights, economic justice, and racial equity. S/he will be able to learn quickly, work collaboratively, and drive projects independently. S/he will be comfortable with a shared leadership structure and committed to working in diverse and cross-functional teams.
The Deputy Director of Grants Management reports to the Director of Brand Strategy and Chief Writer and supervises the Senior Development Strategist and the Development Strategist. S/he also works with the President, Managing Director, Director of Institutional Advancement, and senior staff members when required.

This position reports to: Director of Brand Strategy and Chief Writer
The Center for Community Change recognizes a staff bargaining unit affiliated with IFPTE Local 70, a union for non-profit workers. This position is not included in the CCC bargaining unit and therefore not covered under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
Salary & benefits: $85,000 to $90,000 annual salary. CCC offers a competitive salary based on qualifications and an excellent benefits package, which includes 4 weeks of vacation; paid leave between December 24 and January 1; 401K retirement plan plus an additional 8% employer contribution to a Money Purchase Plan after six months of employment; and a choice of health insurance plans, some that are at no cost to the employee.
