Monica Vernon for Congress is hiring multiple field organizers to join our team in this competitive DCCC “Red to Blue” and EMILY’s List endorsed congressional campaign.

 

Field organizers are responsible for implementing and executing the day-to-day field operations in their specific region.  Any Field Organizer should be able to work and communicate with diverse communities.   A passion for electing Democrats and ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends.

 

Responsibilities and requirements:

 

• The Field Organizer is responsible for recruiting, training and managing a team of volunteers that will perform the voter contact necessary to win.
• Building and maintaining relations with local volunteers and activists  
• Field Organizers are responsible for all data entry for their area; recording and reporting results, etc. 
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to meet deadlines, and multitask
• A good sense of humor and ability to work in a team are musts. 
• Be willing to support other campaign operations as necessary.
• Prior campaign experience preferable but not required
• Applicants must provide their own laptop and have access to a car.
