The Fairness Project (TFP) is
taking on our broken economy and our broken political system by going
straight to voters using ballot initiatives to make significant gains
for working people in America. We combine the best of
nonprofit-start-ups and political campaigns with immediate impact on
people’s lives. Since we launched in 2015, we’ve tested and proven a
model that has directly changed the lives of over 15 million people,
even when our politics and economy are failing them. In our first three
years, we’ve already raised wages for 10 million workers, putting over
$7 billion in workers’ pockets and leading the work to expand Medicaid
in four states, where expansion was assumed to be impossible.
To
grow our impact, TFP seeks an amazing Operations Manager. The Operations
Manager works closely with and reports directly to the Executive
Director. This position is a great opportunity to have visibility into
the workings of a successful 501(c)(4) organization and influence and
support almost all day-to-day needs. Working both independently and in
coordination with The Fairness Project’s staff, the Operations Manager
will oversee multiple projects at all times and ensure that the
organization is equipped to achieve our goals in 2020 and beyond.
The ideal candidate has a “sì se puede”
mindset, is excited about our mission and impact, appreciates the value
of getting the details right, and loves solving problems in a
fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for an individual who is
eager to learn and excited by the challenge of working for a new and
innovative non-profit.
