Outreach Manager

Position: The Connecticut Democratic Party (CDP) is seeking a full-time Outreach Manager. The Outreach Manager will be responsible for overseeing the parties’ statewide organizing efforts. The Outreach Manager will create, implement and execute the outreach plan.

The Outreach Manager will be required to:

- Craft and implement outreach plan 

- Develop and maintain relationships with local elected officials, neighborhood leaders and volunteers

- Daily reporting of outreach metrics and progress to goals

- Organize monthly community leader events and conduct regular leader trainings

- Extensive, possibly daily, travel across Connecticut

- Other duties as needed

Outreach Manger Qualifications:

- At least one cycle of campaign experience

- Previous experience in Connecticut is preferred

- Strong understanding of the Neighborhood Team organizing model

- Proven history of developing productive relationships with political stakeholders

- Self-motivation and the ability to anticipate and prevent problems

- Familiarity with VoteBuilder

- Possess the initiative to work independently and follow through on all projects

- Willing to work long, irregular campaign hours

- Eagerness to join a metrics based accountable organization

- Access to reliable transportation required

- Posses a strong commitment to Democratic Candidates
