FIELD ORGANIZER JOB DESCRIPTION
A fast-paced Congressional campaign in Maine’s Second District is looking to hire Field Organizers to start as soon as possible. This is a key swing district and is notable for being the most rural district on the East Coast.
Responsibilities include:
· Identifying, recruiting, training, and supervising volunteer teams;
· Coordinating and participating in direct voter contact programs to motivate and mobilize voters in key regions;
· Detailed regular reporting of regional activities and program results;
· Representing the candidate and the campaign at community events and meetings;
· Driving and staffing the candidate at various events;
· Recording data on voter and volunteer interactions.
Our ideal candidate for the position has the following qualifications:
· Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully relate to voters and volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds;
· Must be able to work independently and in team settings;
· Must be able to work long and irregular hours as needed;
· Basic computer literacy and database skills;
· Must have a driver's license and access to a car;
· Knowledge or experience working in Maine preferred but not mandatory;
· Previous campaign experience or community organizing experience preferred but not mandatory.

FINANCE ASSISTANT / PERSONAL STAFFER JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include:
· Assisting with all fundraising efforts, including donor research, call time management, and data reporting;
· Driving and staffing the candidate at various community events and meetings;
· Representing the candidate and the campaign at community events and meetings;
· Staffing the campaign office and responding to voter and volunteer inquiries.
