Campaign: Christopher Belt for State Senate 

Location: Metro East St. Louis

JOB DESCRIPTION

A highly targeted IL State Senate race is seeking Field Organizers in the Metro East St. Louis Area for the upcoming 2018 election. Field Organizers are responsible for helping to execute the campaign’s organizing plan in communities across the 57^th District. This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates that are looking to get involved in the political process. Field Organizers will report to the Field Director.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Recruit, train, and manage volunteer leaders in your assigned region or community to help build a large grassroots campaign 

- Participate in voter contact work in your assigned region 

- Maintain databases and do data entry when necessary.

- Prepare canvass and call materials for volunteer activities

- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in your
assigned region

- Other duties as assigned and directed by campaign leadership.

• Willing to work irregular hours including nights and weekends

• Must have reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license and laptop
