Position Description
The Assistant to the Executive Team is responsible for a
wide variety of duties with a primary focus on maintaining the President and
Vice President’s schedules, managing all travel arrangements, preparing for
meetings, and provide support to various departments in the organization.
Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented office
and demonstrate the ability to be flexible, detail-oriented, and anticipate
needs on a day-to-day basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work as a direct assistant to the President and Vice President of PNA
performing various tasks including:
· Keeping the Executive Team’s schedule up to date and accurate
· Preparing the Executive Team with any materials needed for any/all meetings including travel
· Providing support and preparing all materials for the company’s leadership meetings
· Handling logistics and providing support for all staff meetings and other PNA events
· Gain a working knowledge of the national progressive ecosystem
Qualifications
· One cycle of campaign or non-profit experience required
· Two or more years of administrative experience required
· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Experience in booking travel
· Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
· Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to prioritize and handle variety of projects simultaneously
· Ability to communicate effectively, work well under pressure, detail oriented and meet deadlines
· Superior attention to detail
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills
· Ability to work independently, exercising good judgment and discretion
· Knowledge of and strong commitment to progressive causes preferred
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience. Generous benefits include health, dental, vision and paid vacation.
