Northern California Assembly Campaign Seeks Campaign Manager

Seeking campaign manager for a competitive campaign for State Assembly in Northern California.

 

The campaign manager will manage day-to-day activities for the campaign including; political outreach, communication, social media, web, scheduling and field. The CM will supervise paid field organizers and recruit volunteers. S/he will work with political consulting firm to implement campaign plans. Strong background in grassroots field organizing is preferred.

 

The district is located in Northern California and spans several counties. Having access to a vehicle is a must.

 

Requirements

•       At least one cycle of campaign or relevant experience.
  
•       Excellent communication and writing skills.
  
•       Motivated.
  
•       Available to work irregular hours.
  
•       Ability to accomplish assigned tasks on time and with limited supervision.
  
•       Ability to submit nightly and weekly report on time.
  
•       Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Preferred skills

•       Proficiency with VAN and/or Nationbuilder or similar voter file.
  
•       InDesign and Photoshop.
  
•       GIS mapping.
  
•       Northern California campaign experience is helpful.
