Top Targeted Democratic State Senate Campaign in the Philadelphia area is seeking a motivated, hard working Finance Director for the 2020 Election Cycle

 

Pennsylvania’s State Senate has been Republican-controlled for over three decades. With encouraging Special Election and Midterm Election wins, 2020 is a major opportunity for Democrats to retake control of the chamber. We cannot flip the State Senate without this seat and it will take a massive Field effort to flip!

 

Responsibilities:

·                  Develop and execute a multi-million-dollar finance plan

·                  Creation and management of budget with the campaign manager

·                  Ability to manage cash flow

·                  Build and manage a department of staff and interns

·                  Staff call-time as needed, particularly in the early stages of the campaign

·                  Manage a robust digital fundraising plan with a strong emphasis on grassroots donors

·                  Staff candidate in donor meetings as needed

·                  Serve as part of the senior leadership team, advising candidate, and campaign manager on the overall direction of the campaign 

 

Required Qualifications:

·                 At least 1-2 cycles of fundraising experience

·                 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ActBlue and NGP

·                 Positive can-do attitude

·                 Ability to work long and irregular hours

·                 Excellent organizational and time management skills

·                 Reliable transportation and a laptop

·                 Ability to work independently and in team settings

·                 Experience managing staff

·                 Strong written, communication, research, & interpersonal skills - attention to detail a must

 

·                 Passion for electing Democrats
