Responsibilities

Field Organizers will be responsible for:

• Implementing the Field Plan

• Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers

• Managing and executing voter contact tactics such as:

• Representing the Campaign at local Democratic events and meetings

• Talking to voters

• Operating and maintaining campaign offices

• Building relationships with political stakeholders, allied organizations, and local Democratic committees

• Other duties as needed

Desired Qualifications and Characteristics

The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, and outgoing. They will possess excellent personal, verbal and written communications skills. They will be a problem-solver, undeterred by obstacles, and look for creative ways to accomplish their goals. They will also have a strong sense of commitment to Democratic principles.

The ideal candidate will understand that this is a demanding position in a fast-paced work environment that will require long hours including nights and weekends. Additionally, the ideal candidate has a sense of humor and can go with the flow. 

Salary

The Campaign offers a salary of $3,500 a month.
