BattleAxe Digital is seeking a fellow to join our rapidly expanding digital team. BattleAxe Digital is a woman-founded, woman-run full-service digital firm dedicated to helping progressive campaigns win. Our team brings decades worth of political and advocacy experience to Democratic campaigns.
This is a great position for college students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in political digital organizing. Our Fellows start at $15/hour. We have both full and part time options available.
Responsibilities include:
Research
Copywriting and editing
Proofreading
Designing graphics for emails, social media, print, websites, etc.
Video editing, including subtitles
Finding and licensing stock footage and music
Website editing
Prepping marketing materials
Other duties as assigned
Skills required:
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere)
Basic knowledge of website building platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, and Wordpress
Strong reading, writing, and proofing abilities
Attention to detail
About you:
You have a passion for getting Democrats elected up and down the ballot and working with progressive organizations to make change
You’re a fast learner
You’re interested in current events and the current state of politics
You have a strong work ethic and good time management skills
Bonus skills/experience:
Any campaign and/or political experience is a plus
