Canvasser openings for state senate race in MN!

The Minnesota Senate DFL Caucus (Democratic Party) is seeking full time and part time Canvassers to start immediately to implement voter contact efforts. Please note this is NOT a fundraising position. Competitive salary and benefits available.

Minimum qualifications:

• Active or interest in becoming active in the DFL Party and passionate about progressive values
• Reliable transportation to office and cell phone
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work will in a team
• Willingness to work unconventional hours

General Job Duties are as follows:

• Door-to-door and phone conversations with voters about issues and candidates
• Accurate reporting and database management
• Help teammates to establish best practices
• Bring issues to the attention of the Canvass Director
• Other duties as assigned

Ideal applicants will be or have:

• Passionate about progressive values
• Reliable transportation to the office (having a car is not necessary)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good attitude
• Ability to work without supervision for long periods
• Willingness to work irregular and long hours that are associated with campaigning
• Willingness to work outside in inclement weather

Location:

• St. Cloud and surrounding area

Compensation range for full-time employees is $2500-$2700/month with competitive benefits available.
