General Overview: 360 Campaign Consulting is expanding dramatically in the run-up to 2020, and we need rock-solid Organizing Directors to help us manage that growth.
An Organizing Director will manage up to 6 full-time organizers who are running volunteer based organizing projects, help design and implement political strategy in key states or Congressional Districts, provide training, create campaign materials, and track progress towards overall campaign goals. You will also be on the company's leadership team and help to drive organization-wide goals.
Locations: This is a remote position, based anywhere with WiFi and cell service.
Responsibilities:
Manage 4-6 staff through daily check ins and weekly planning calls
Develop long-term and short-term strategic campaign plans
Lead and support campaign planning sessions with key stakeholders in target states
Track numbers towards goals
Write and edit reports on progress to 360 staff and clients
Create campaign materials, tracking forms, and training guides to support organizers in the field
Drive your organizing team to hit overall campaign goals
Liaise with organizations and other members of the community, including the political community, as appropriate
Help to manage in-state coalitions in collaboration with your staff
Qualifications:
5+ years of extensive experience in issue and/or electoral campaigns with increasing responsibility over time
Some experience on issue based campaigns required
Some experience in digital organizing is very helpful
Previous staff management experience required
Self-starter and excellent problem solving skills
Good balance of hands on/hands off as a staff manager
Passion for progressive solutions to big problems
Willingness to work evenings and weekends, and to travel as necessary
Excellent report-writing skills
Salary
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 to $72,000. We provide a generous benefits package which includes healthcare, paid vacation, sick pay, and a training program.
