Position Summary:
The Margaret Good for Florida House District 72 campaign is hiring Field Organizers. Margaret Good won a special election earlier this year in February, making this the 36th legislative seat that Democrats have flipped since Trump was elected. As a Field Organizer, you will have a pivotal role in making sure that we protect the progress that we’ve made by reelecting Rep. Good.
Field Organizers will report directly to the Field Director. Your main priorities will be developing relationships and empowering local volunteers, along with participating in various forms of Director Voter Contact.
Responsibilities:
Execute Field Plan in your specific region.
Identify, recruit, train, and develop relationships with volunteers.
Coordinate and participate in direct voter contact programs to mobilize supporters to vote.
Identify, recruit, train, and manage Fellows through our summer and fall programs.
Represent and staff the campaign at local events and meetings.
Qualifications:
Access to a car, laptop, and cell phone.
Strong commitment to electing Democrats.
Strong relationship building skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
Must be willing to travel and work long hours.
Pluses:
Experience political or community organizing.
Experience using VAN.
