End Citizens United’s Mission: To combat Big Money in politics and dismantle our rigged political system by electing campaign finance reform champions and passing state ballot measures. These champions will work toward overturning Citizens United, ending unlimited money in politics, and ending Dark Money. We’ll work towards the mission by: electing pro-reform candidates, raising the issue of money in politics as a national priority, and using grassroots membership to demonstrate political power on the issue of money in politics.

 

Reports to:  Director of Policy and Non-Federal Strategy

 

Job Summary: The Policy and Initiatives Intern reports to the Director of Policy and Non-Federal Strategy and is responsible for various tasks that are essential to ECU’s ongoing efforts to further the cause of campaign finance reform. These efforts will include but not be limited to: tracking policy and legislative developments, joining high-level campaign strategy discussions, and working on joint efforts between ECU and its organizational partners. Interns will also assist with administrative responsibilities.
