SUMMARY:

NextGen Climate is currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Operations Director to join our New Hampshire team through the 2016 general election. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a political or campaign environment. The candidate will have experience managing budgets, paid programs, event management and familiar with human resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain state budget and paid programs
• Oversee staff hiring process, and human resource activities in state
• Tracking organizational progress and developing comprehensive reports
• Coordinate grants opportunities, events and trainings

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Must have previous experience in an operations management position
• At least one cycle of political campaign experience
• Ability to work with campaign budget and paid programs
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Apps
• Excellent organizational skills
• The ability to adapt rapidly to evolving priorities and deadlines
• Driven with a strong work ethic
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours
