Communications Director
A Democratic campaign in top-tier Indiana Congressional District 02 is seeking a senior level Communications Director who will work closely with the Democratic nominee, campaign manager, consultants, campaign staff, and other core members of campaign team to lead the campaign’s communications strategy in this targeted district.
The Communications Director will identify, develop, and implement strategies to connect with target audiences through email, social media, press, and other sources to advance name recognition, campaign message, and to mobilize GOTV efforts.
Ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced campaign environment, can keep multiple projects moving, and plans for and hits deadlines. The Communications Director will work closely with and will report directly to the Campaign Manager. If selected, you will have the opportunity to help flip back a once blue House district seat held by former Sen. Joe Donnelly and Rep. Jill Long Thompson. Compensation is commensurate with applicant’s experience. Salary range: $4,000 - $5,000.
