Rebecca Otto’s Campaign For Governor has immediate openings for Field
Organizers to continue building a grassroots organization across the state of Minnesota.
Field Organizers will represent the campaign across the state as they recruit potential
delegates and volunteers. Applicants should have a strong passion for organizing activists,
be self-motivated and able to operate without constant oversight.
Responsibilities:
● Recruiting potential delegates to local conventions in support of the candidate
● Conducting one-on-one or group meetings with volunteers
● Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers and volunteer teams
● Building relationships with convention goers in assigned area
● Organizing and executing house parties, phone banks, or canvasses
● Persuading convention goers to support the candidate
● Executing aggressive Get Out the Caucus efforts in your turf
● Planning and executing campaign events and rallies
Skills or qualifications:
● Ability to multitask and have strict attention to detail
● Hardworking and personally organized
● Able to meet important deadlines with short notice
● Ability to achieve goals and perform under pressure
● Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends
● Thrives working in a diverse team environment
● Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
