Description: Ellis for Congress, a progressive congressional campaign in Missouri’s 8th District, is seeking a Call Time Manager to assist with our fundraising through the 2020 election. This is a part-time consultant position for 12-15 hours each week. The Call Time Manager will be responsible for staffing the Candidate during Call Time and completing all necessary follow ups and donor prospecting.
Responsibilities:
● Staff call time with the candidate each week: current schedule is Monday 10am - 4pm & Wednesday 10am - 4pm. Consultant would need to be available during Central Time hours.
● Complete follow up emails after each call time session, and track all call time notes in both NGP and our Call Time Tracking spreadsheet
● Complete follow up calls to donors when necessary and assist Fundraising Team and Campaign Manager in determining which pledges necessitate a call from the candidate directly
● Work directly with Fundraising Team and Manager to determine which lists should be called and the messaging used when calling these lists
● Keep candidate organized and on task during call time
● Assist with donor research as needed
● Be responsible, organized, and professional when working with both donors and the candidate
Qualifications/Additional Info:
● Organizational skills and the ability to multitask
● Willingness and interest in learning the Call Time Manager role
● Experience with NGP and Google Sheets. Expertise not required, as we are willing to train on
both these items
● Commitment to progressive values
● Availability on Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings on Central Time.
● Call Time is currently all remote given Coronavirus; it is possible to continue this work remotely
for the right candidate.
Compensation:
This is a consultant role with a retainer of $850/month, with an expected 12-15 hours of work each week. Possibility of expansion into a more hours in Summer 2020, which will result in increased compensation at a agreed-upon rate.
