REGIONAL FIELD DIRECTOR

A Maryland gubernatorial campaign is seeking full-time Regional Field Directors for an aggressive field operation. Regional Field Directors are responsible for the implementation of the field plan in their respective regions, interacting with activists, volunteers, and other supporters. Regional Field Directors report to the Deputy Field Director and Field Director and will be based in communities across Maryland.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·       Managing staff of field organizers and volunteers

·       Implementing and developing a regional version of the statewide field plan

·       Overseeing the building and staffing of events

·       Hiring Organizers and providing constant support and training

 

Qualifications:

·       At least 1-2 cycles of competitive organizing experience

·       Strong coaching skills and abilities

·       Big desire to be a part of a team

·       Willingness to travel and work long hours in a face-paced environment

·       Ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals while handling multiple projects

·       Knowledge of and experience with VAN

·       Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle are required.
