BOSTON AREA,
MA -- Progressive Democratic Congressional Primary challenger is seeking an
experienced social media director for the 2020 cycle.
Applicants who reside in the Boston area or within Massachusetts are preferred.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Create and execute a social media plan with a
focus on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
- Produce and publish social media content with
the goal of increasing online supporters and fundraising
- Produce and edit original content in-house
including video, photos and graphics
- Locate and develop published content to post
with creative text, including articles
- Ability to hyper-target social media posts to
the right audience
- Ability to produce, complete, and execute several
posts per day across all platforms
Experience & Skills:
- At least 1 cycle of political campaign social media experience
- Experience with Boston and eastern
Massachusetts Democratic politics preferred
- Comfort in a fast-paced work
environment and ready and willing to solve unforeseen challenges with speed and
efficiency
- Excellent organizational skills, high
attention to detail, work well under tight deadlines
- Strong writing, speaking, and
interpersonal communication skills
Start Date: Immediately
Salary: Competitive monthly rate
