Campaign Manager: Alaska congressional race

A well-funded congressional candidate in Alaska is seeking a campaign manager to drive the campaign team through a competitive election. The district was a DCCC R2B target in 2016.

 

The manager will work closely with the candidate, the finance team, and a consulting team. 

A sense of adventurism and eagerness to move to Alaska is a plus!

 

Duties:

 

-       Work closely with the candidate to understand her vision and write and execute campaign plan

-       Manage day-to-day operation of campaign and all staff

-       Manage budget and oversee all campaign spending

-       Oversee existing finance team to ensure fundraising is hitting targets

-       Hire field staff and oversee field operation and volunteer team

-       Manage candidate travel schedule and political activities

 

Qualifications/Skills:

 

-       At least 2 cycles in political campaigns, experience as a campaign manager preferred

-       Experience with Microsoft Office, NGP, VAN

-       Superb verbal and written communication skills

-       Ability to move to Alaska and work long (campaign) hours, including nights and weekends

-       A valid driver’s license

-       Ability to relocate immediately

-       Excellent organizational and managerial skills
