Democratic State Senate Campaign seeks to higher a Campaign Manager for a targeted Senate seat.  This position will be located in the Central Valley.

Job Description

• Oversee all aspects of the research, drafting and implementation of a campaign plan.
• Hire and manage campaign staff.
• Conduct staff and volunteer meetings to advance plan.
• Lead fundraising team in identifying and soliciting funds for a significant fundraising campaign.
• Build broad, effective grassroots campaign including, but not limited to, coalition building, voter targeting and support.
• Build and implement get-out-the-vote activities.
• Act as liaison to other area campaign committees.
• With Treasurer, manage all aspects of compliance oversight and adherence to campaign finance reporting requirements.

Job Requirements

• Applicants should have at least three-five years of political organizing/campaign management experience, including experience with a top tier campaign.
• They must have a proven track record in coalition building, grass roots or field campaign organizing, financial oversight, and public speaking.
• They must have demonstrated fundraising experience and knowledge of campaign funding sources.
• They must have demonstrated ability to work with diverse communities, and serve as a team leader.
• Knowledge of all social media platforms is a must.
• Excellent writing skills are necessary.
• Must be a self starter and have strong attention to details.
