Campaign Manager for Maryland Congressional Elections
CD Campaign
We are looking for a campaign manager for Maryland's upcoming congressional elections in CD-7 (Primaries on February 7 and April 28). The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the campaign including day-to-day operations, the hiring and management of staff, the coordination and implementation of the fundraising operations and ongoing coordination with the candidate. He/she will also be responsible for creating and managing the campaign budget. The campaign manager must have excellent organizational skills, be level-headed, have good interpersonal skills- and can’t be afraid of making big asks of people.
Responsibilities:
Hiring and managing additional staff
Coordination and implementation of fundraising operations
Manage all other campaign team leads, including field, digital, and communications
Qualifications:
2+ years of political campaign experience
1 year experience managing staff
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and outside organizations and be able to multitask without sacrificing quality of work
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to foster a cooperative, team-oriented work environment
Manage and work closely with Finance Director to develop the budget and finance/fundraising plan and ensure successful fundraising operations.
Proficient skills in voter management software such as NGP VAN Votebuilder.
