Campaign Manager for Illinois State Senate Campaign 

OVERVIEW

An extremely hardworking, dedicated grassroots Illinois State Senate candidate is seeking a Finance Director to manage fundraising operations through November. 

The ideal candidate should be familiar with the Midwest and willing to relocate to Ottawa, IL; have finance/NGP experience; be committed to rebuilding the Illinois Democratic party in rural areas. have a positive, go-getter attitude and sense of humor. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Include, but are not limited to: 

• Deeloping fundraising strategy and holding campaign to goals, including managing call time
• Conducting donor research and organize data into NGP
• Preparing and track phone calls and process contributions 
• Organizing planning and execution of fundraising events 
• Drafting fundraising emails 
• Managing candidate's day-to-day schedule and calendar
• Staffing candidate at campaign events 
• Other administrative tasks as needed 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• At least 1-2 cycles of electoral campaign experience in a finance capacity. 
• Highly organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced campaign environment
• Have experience with fundraising, including call time, list building/donor prospecting, and budgeting 
• Have field experience, including volunteer management 
• Proficiency with NGP/VAN required 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Docs required 
• Access to reliable transportation required.  
• Illinois/rural ties a plus

COMPENSATION 

Competitive salary consummate on experience. Optional housing (1-bedroom apartment) included.
