SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Field Coordinator position plays a key role in the overall Field and outreach programming with both.COLOR’s C3 and C4 side. This role will work with the Field Director on the advancement and expansion of the Latinx electorate, identifying new members for the organization, and advancing the Reproductive Justice movement in the state, for both C3 and C4 priorities. They will work closely with the canvassing team on community outreach with a goal of identifying new members for the organization. COLOR Action Fund is a 501c4 dedicated to advancing political power for and within the Latinx community.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Electoral & Partner Work
● Work closely with Field Director and COLOR team to manage and facilitate innovative and creative electoral and issue campaigns, short and long-term campaign planning, and capacity building in both C3 & C4 space.
● Oversee and manage canvass team (ongoing) with a focus on creating a safe and inclusive space.
● Organize and facilitate coordinated and/or collaborative partner events, including coalition events and other partner work.
● Assist in the cultivation of relationships with partner organizations and community groups.
● Assist the COLOR & COLOR AF communications team in content creation for online campaigns and digital outreach/programming.
Operations
● Assist on data organization and cultivation of internal systems related to field and organizing, e.g. VAN and EveryAction.
● Participate in organization-wide resiliency work as well as staff-board retreats.
● Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in political campaigns, progressive non-profits (with an organizing focus) or within similar entities.
● Cultural Competence - must share a commitment to advancing racial justice and equity and ensuring an inclusive organizational culture. Familiarity with the complexity of issues and obstacles facing communities’ of color participation in U.S. democracy. Familiarity with Colorado democratic processes and in-state community preferred.
● Experience working with underrepresented and/or historically marginalized communities, particularly in political and organizing settings. Experience or training in race equity / anti-racist frameworks; a general understanding of how power intersects with gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and class in organizing and electoral settings.
● Demonstrated ability to build consensus, negotiate within a highly collaborative work environment; ability to be trusted to lead and to be able to practice confidentiality, discretion and legal compliance in the work.
● Ability to work independently and to drive and manage own workload; ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively by making and meeting team goals.
● Excellent communication and time management skills, with attention to detail.
● Experience with voter engagement programs and digital campaigns.
● Flexible work schedule when evening and weekend hours are required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Must be over 18 years old
*Must have excellent communication and people skills;
*Ability to work in a team
*Ability to work under deadlines
*Spanish language competency is a plus

SALARY:
The position is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Field Director and is based in Denver, CO.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to COLOR’s vision, mission, and programs.
Salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 with a competitive benefits package.

LOCATION:
The candidate must be located in or willing to commute to Metro Denver. Some travel across the state may be required.
